How appointment statuses work (check-in, check-out)

Each appointment moves through a few simple states during the day.

• Booked — the appointment is scheduled.
• Check-In — the patient has arrived. Tap Check-In so the doctor sees them in the queue.
• Check-Out — the visit is finished.

In a small clinic the doctor may do all of this. In a busier clinic, reception checks patients in and out. Either way is fine — use whatever suits your clinic.

A checked-in patient appears in the doctor's TO DO LIST in the examination screen.
