Patients who use your portal can message your clinic. Their messages arrive under Patient Portal → Chats, and the sidebar shows an unread badge.

This in-app Portal Chat is different from the WhatsApp Messaging page. Portal Chat is inside the patient app; WhatsApp Messaging sends messages through WhatsApp. See WhatsApp messaging.
